Setup Scripts for SearXNG

Installation

• clone this repo

• execute install.sh as root

• update the configs in /etc/searxng/settings.yml

  • use another key
  • set valkey url to false

• restart searxng.service

• info : the url and port are designated in run.sh, if you want to change those, either adjust them in run.sh before installing, or remove the exports and then configure them in settings.yml

Uninstalling

• run uninstall.sh
• that's it
